It’s not very often that the person behind the camera has a chance to get in front of it. I LOVE being behind the camera and capturing other people’s moments, but every once in a while I like to step out in front of the lens. My wife and I were going to get our Christmas pictures taken, but being a photographer, I knew exactly what I wanted and figured I might as well get it done my way.
Armed with my camera, a laptop, and an iphone I was able to capture our images. (I’ll be posting a video on how I did the shoot soon) It wasn’t easy, but a quick 20 minutes later and we had the shots we wanted. I feel truly blessed to be married to such a wonderful woman and doing something that I love to do. We’re excited to get our OWN cards out this year. Cheers!
ksen :) - David! these are beautyFULL — i especially love the last one. it encompasses the love you & your wife have. truly beautyfull, as are the two of you! i have found that doing a self-portrait is the best way to really ‘learn’ photography at it’s finest.
